    WOODLAND, CALIF.  (October 10, 2019)  --  While many restaurants, stores and businesses throughout Northern California are closed without power, all Nugget Markets grocery stores remain open and ready to help shoppers in need.  Every Nugget Markets store is operating business as usual with full power and product offerings. 

    “We’ve received a number of calls and want everyone to know all Nugget Markets stores are open and here to serve.  We want to remind everyone from local residents to first responders that we have our everyday offerings, from warm, chef-prepared foods in our kitchens, to our usual wide assortment of grocery items and beverages, and we are here to help our communities stay well stocked and recharged.” said Nicole Rogers, Nugget Markets’ director of marketing and communications.  She added, “Each store is opening and closing at its regular times.”

    Nugget Markets Sources Hyperlocal Produce from West Sacramento Urban Farms

    Woodland, CA (October 7, 2019) – Thanks to Nugget Markets’ partnership with the Center for Land-Based Learning (CLBL), West Sacramento shoppers are now able to enjoy hyperlocal produce while supporting up-and-coming farmers. The Nugget Markets store in West Sacramento has been offering a variety of produce from farmers in the West Sacramento Urban Farm Program throughout the summer. This program is part of CLBL’s California Farm Academy Business Incubator Program, which provides opportunities to beginning farmers in the form of land, tools, infrastructure and mentorship.

    Nugget Markets Partners with Yolo Food Bank for Grand Opening of New Facility

    Woodland, CA (August 19, 2019) – Nugget Markets is proud to join Yolo Food Bank in celebrating the Grand Opening and Open House of their new, expanded facility in Woodland, California. As part of their ongoing support of the food bank, Nugget Markets is contributing $100,000 over three years to the End Hunger Yolo capital campaign which funded the new building. The Grand Opening is a free, family-friendly event that will take place Saturday, August 24, 2019 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at 233 Harter Avenue and will include tours, activities and a ribbon cutting.
