A light appetizer cheese board is the perfect way to get your party started. This pre-dinner delight focuses on some of our favorite American artisan cheeses:
Harbison: This soft ripened cow’s milk cheese hails from Jasper Hill Farm in Vermont.
Flagship: Beecher’s signature cheese is a cow’s milk cheddar from Washington.
Dry Jack: This firm cow’s milk cheese is from California.
In terms of perfect pairings, sparkling wine is generally a good bet to serve with appetizers, as it pairs nicely with a wide range of cheeses. Mirabelle Brut Sparkling Wine is a great option with this all-American assortment.
If serving beer, choose a light, crisp brew like pale ale or Hefeweizen. Calicraft Buzzerkeley Sparkling Ale, a light, refreshing drink that blurs the line between beer and wine, pairs well with rich foods and complements these cheeses to a T.
For the finishing touch, serve your appetizer cheese board with nibbles like Miller’s Truffle Almonds, Olli Toscano Salame and dried apricots.
