So whether you’re in the mood for a sweet, savory or spicy snack, try perking up plain popcorn with these easy recipes!
Rocky Road
¼ cup melted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
½ tablespoon sea salt
16 cups hot popcorn
2 cups mini marshmallows
2 cups chocolate chips
2 cups toasted almonds
Combine melted butter with vanilla extract and sea salt. Drizzle over hot popcorn and toss with mini marshmallows, chocolate chips and toasted almonds. Spread on baking sheets and bake at 350°F until the marshmallows and chocolate are slightly melted, about 2 minutes.
Salt and Vinegar
2 tablespoons malt vinegar
2 tablespoons sherry vinegar
2 teaspoons sea salt
16 cups hot popcorn
Combine malt vinegar, sherry vinegar and sea salt in a small spray bottle; shake to dissolve the salt. Spray mixture over 16 cups hot popcorn.
Sriracha-Lime
¼ cup melted butter
5 tablespoons Sriracha sauce
2 teaspoons grated lime zest
1 tablespoon lime juice
16 cups hot popcorn
Sea salt to taste
Whisk together melted butter, Sriracha sauce, grated lime zest and lime juice. Drizzle over hot popcorn and toss. Season with sea salt.
