Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, FORTUNE Magazine announced that Nugget Markets is #13 on this year’s “100 Best Companies to Work For” list! We have been honored to be on this national listing for the past 11 years, and ecstatic to climb so high on the list in 2016!

As well as being recognized in FORTUNE’s write-up for having “a culture built on a positive, fun-loving team atmosphere” and offering our associates “industry-leading wages and healthcare benefits,” the article also lauded the fact that in our 90-year history, we’ve never had a single layoff!

FORTUNE partnered with Great Place to Work to identify the “100 Best Companies to Work For” by using extensive employee surveys (regarding job satisfaction, camaraderie, etc.) and a culture audit (relating to pay and benefit programs, diversity efforts, etc.).
