In honor of Earth Day, we’re excited to announce the winner of our “Who’s Your Green Guru?” contest. Congratulations Kaysey E. from Davis, for winning the hearts of the public and our Green Guru team, and the contest itself! 

A college student studying Business Sustainability and Renewable Energy, Kaysey is knowledgeable and passionate about many environmental issues and is often known as “Mr. Sustainability.” According to his nomination, Kaysey “actively seeks and carries out solutions to many issues that affect the community and environment around him." 

Learning of the millions of people who are struggling to put nutritious food on the table in the midst of local food waste, Kaysey organized a coalition between his college and a local food bank to find a solution for both. He also designed T-shirts highlighting food waste and hunger facts and solutions to help raise awareness. Way to live green, Kaysey!
