More of a read-the-instructions sort of person? Here it is in writing:
First, slice off the stem area of the mango. Stand the mango on end and slice downward, cutting the fruit first from the wide, flat sides of the pit (which have the most flesh), then from the thinner sides.
Lay the thin mango strips peel-side-down on a cutting board and carefully run a knife between the peel and the fruit. Cut the wide mango pieces in half lengthwise and repeat the process.
Slice the large mango pieces in a crosshatch pattern to create bite-sized cubes. Lastly, cut the thin mango strips into cubes, and enjoy the fruits of your labor!
