Wow, what a weekend! Nearly 30 Nugget Markets associates and friends took part in the Sacramento Pride Parade and Festival Saturday on the Capitol Mall, representing our stores all the way from Marin County up to El Dorado Hills!

The Nugget Markets team showed their spirit in bright pink “Extraordinary Pride” shirts, and some lucky festival goers even got to take a shirt home. A lot of attendees were excited to see us and some even ran up to give hugs and high-fives, or screamed for us as we walked by. Many people also visited our booth at the festival to pick up free recipe cards and Field Guides.

With rallies before the march, cheering, flags flying and more, the energy was high throughout the event, and the LGBT community was excited about the participation from the community. It was a blast sharing the love!
