Orange You Glad
- ½ sweet orange
- ½ geranium
Use this blend both to cheer up and settle down. Try it in a magnesium and sea salt spray or in a diffuser at home. Since citrus oils like sweet orange are photosensitizing and can affect sensitive skin when exposed to sunlight, don’t spray this blend directly on your skin if you plan on spending time outside.
Frankly My Dear
- ½ lavender
- ½ frankincense
Since frankincense helps encourage deep breathing, it’s perfect for yoga practice, meditation and clearing one’s head. Mix these oils with your chosen carrier oil and use when practicing yoga or at night before bed.
When blending essential oils with carrier oils, a good rule of thumb is to use 1 drop of essential oil per 1 ounce of carrier oil, though ratios can vary depending on your chosen essential oils and usage.
