As you may already know, here at Nugget Markets, we’re committed to supporting local nonprofits and causes right here in our community. One of our fantastic community partners is Pride Industries Foundation, based right down the road in Roseville, California.

PRIDE Industries Foundation makes it their mission to connect those with physical and mental disabilities or other employment obstacles to career opportunities and support. An example of their efforts includes raising funds for job preparation services that aren’t funded by the state, like paid internships, job coaching, assistive technology devices and transportation.

So, who benefits from all of these efforts? Everyone! As well as directly helping those with physical or mental disabilities, youth leaving the foster care system and veterans with disabilities, these programs benefit the community as a whole by empowering people to lead productive and independent lives.

This year, Pride Industries is celebrating 50 years of serving our region and the nation. We are so proud of the work they’ve done over the years and honored to be able to support them in the cause
