Count Károlyi Grüner Veltliner: While Grüner Veltliner is more famous in Austria, this fun version hails from Hungary. Dry, crisp and refreshing, it delights the palate with hints of green apple, lemon and white pepper.
J. Lohr Valdiguié: Made from the obscure Valdiguié grape, this medium-bodied wine from California is one of our favorites with brambly fruit aromas backed by blueberry and pomegranate. Serve slightly chilled with charcuterie and hard cheeses.
Biscaye Baie Sauvignon Blanc: If you like New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, be sure to give this beauty a try. Made from grapes grown in the Côtes de Gascogne region in the southwestern corner of France, it has terrific value and taste.
Le Petit Nicolas Malbec: Malbec from Argentina has gained popularity over the last decade, but this version hails from the original home of the Malbec grape: the Cahors region of Southern France. Loaded with dark black fruit flavors, it has just enough tannins to notice they’re there.
Find these and other wonderful wines in the adult beverage department of your local Nugget Markets! Looking for more recommendations? Our friendly and talented wine stewards are always happy to help.
