It’s time to bust out the blueberries—California-grown Serres Ranch blueberries are back! “Big John” Serres and his family have been growing their legendary blueberries in Mendocino County since 2001. Thanks to ideal growing conditions, these beautiful berries are super sweet, extra plump and as fresh as it gets—they’re hand-sorted, boxed and headed out to our stores the very next day. Their season is short, so stock up while you can!

Special this year, we’re featuring Serres Ranch blueberries in a few of our other departments, too! Visit our bakery to enjoy these amazing berries in our seasonal Blueberry Lemon Tarts along with our Fresh Fruit Tarts and Fresh Fruit Danishes. At our coffee bar, our Berry Acai Bowl will feature Serres Ranch blueberries for a limited time, and if you visit our kitchen's salad bar, you can throw a few berries in your summer salad for a pop of sweetness!

Need another reason to indulge in these beautiful berries? According to Dr. Liz, blueberries are rich in anthocyanins and noted for their high antioxidant levels, hence their reputation for warding off many age-related conditions related to oxidative damage such as heart disease. Color us impressed!
