Siduri Pinot Noir, Santa Barbara: One of many pinot noirs from this producer, it is slowly becoming our favorite. Most of the fruit comes from the Santa Rita Hills and provides depth and complexity not usually found in a pinot noir in this price range.
2018 Cellier des Dauphins Côtes Du Rhône Prestige Rouge: This blend of grenache and syrah packs a punch with big, dark black fruit flavors and supple tannins. A very modern take on this style, it’s super drinkable and scored 97 points from Decanter.
Chalk Hill Chardonnay, Sonoma Coast: The cooling influence of the ocean breezes make the Sonoma Coast a perfect region to make chardonnay. With fruit, acid and just the right amount of oak, this wine is balanced, smooth and bold.
Daou Cabernet Sauvignon: Year in and out, this is always a well-made wine. Scoring 93 points from Wine Enthusiast, it’s also in the running for what we think is one of the best value cabernet sauvignons made in California.
