At Nugget we love to celebrate Earth Day 365 days a year. And we are committed to constantly improving the impact we make on the environment. Over the last year we have focused on reducing our water and energy usage as well as our waste creation.
What impact did our efforts make last year?
We diverted over 5.5 million pounds of waste from the landfill.
Our water usage was reduced by 75% which led us save 3.8 million gallons of water.
We added energy-efficient LED lighting as well as energy efficient cooler cases with glass doors to a handful of our stores.
