This simply delicious dip is perfect for a Mediterranean-style snack board with veggies and flatbread or as a flavorful spread for sandwiches.
- 7 ounces Feta Valbreso, broken into chunks
- 2 ounces extra virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup crème fraîche
- 1 lemon, zested and juiced
- ½ teaspoon pepper
In mixing bowl, incorporate feta chunks and olive oil by pressing against the side of the bowl with a firm rubber spatula or wooden spoon. The feta will become smooth when all of the oil has been incorporated.
Mix in the crème fraîche, lemon juice and lemon zest, then season with black pepper. For an extra smooth texture, press through a fine mesh strainer before serving.
