Macadamia Nut Toffee

Just four simple ingredients come together to make this tempting toffee. In fact, it's so good you might want to make a double batch!
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup macadamia nuts, chopped
Preparation
Melt butter in a heavy-bottomed sauce pot. Add the sugar and salt and bring to a boil. Boil on medium heat until a candy thermometer reads 300°F.
Spread the macadamia nuts on a lined baking dish. Pour the hot caramel over the nuts and tap pan to release any air bubbles. Let cool to room temperature.
Once toffee is set, gently drop on the counter to break into pieces.
