Signature Brine

This classic brine is ideal for a holiday turkey, though you may need to make a double batch depending on the size of your bird and brining container. Once your brine is ready, immerse your chosen poultry, cover, and refrigerate for 24–48 hours for best results.

Preparation
Combine all ingredients except ice in a large pot and bring to a boil. Boil for 1 minute, stirring to dissolve the salt. Remove from heat, add ice, and let cool completely before using.
